( Video Inside ) Normally, vortices have only been viewable on the rear wings of Formula 1 cars, yet this weekend in Austin, we were treated to some vortices developed by the front wing that were directed underneath the nose and towards the outside of the sidepods. These controlled streams of compressed air seem to be more purposed than the usual mush of cloud that we see flowing out of the rear wing.
